Light and Shadow
A shadow is never entirely a representation of its object. It has its own shapes and sizes depending on where the light is being hit. The relationship between the light and the shadow of an object can be interpreted in many different ways. Each person can analyze the characteristics of a shadow a different way. Many colors can be seen as well as different shapes and intensities.
The idea for this project was to develop a design of a light fixture that explored shadows and lights. We used materials of our choice to develop a light fixture based on our concept models that were made out of recycled material. This project allowed the understanding of space and light and how objects might manipulate light in a very specific way.
