Materiality and Assembly

This class was based on discovering new materials and their functions. We learned about specific materials and analyzed how they could be connected without the use of adhesives.

This project at first was individual. I was assigned paper as a material. With it we had to manipulate it into a sculpture without using adhesives. After that was completed we then partnered up with a student from our class and together we built a bigger sculpture that would be placed in a famous hotel in NYC. The two materials for the final sculptures were paper and aluminum foil.
